The Brewing Guide
A good pot is a matter of patience
Every tea has its own temperament. Here’s how we brew ours at the shop — use it as a starting point, then steep to taste.
Boil
Heat fresh, filtered water to the temperature your leaf calls for.
Measure
One heaping teaspoon of loose leaf per cup is the house rule of thumb.
Steep
Cover the pot and let time do the work — resist the urge to rush it.
Pour & Enjoy
Strain the leaves, warm your hands on the cup, and slow down.
